For your final capstone project, you will be preparing a quality improvement plan for a health care facility of your choosing. Acceptable facility types would be
clinics, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, etc. You will select a facility, identify the improvement opportunity, do research and analysis work, and prepare a
quality improvement plan.

The week 1 assignment is to:

1) Select a type of facility for your quality improvement plan. Provide a narrative on the facility type, and why you made that choice.

2) Identify the problem you’d like solve for the facility. You’ll want to identify the elements that will help you scope the project, and identify the project goals.

3) Prepare an outline of the plan. This outline should identify the key milestones of the plan, and what will be accomplished and delivered within the plan along the
way.
