Write a brief paper (use the Word template for this assignment). The purpose of this paper is to demonstrate your understanding of the principles discussed in the
journal article about the feeding relationship between parents and their children.Your paper should be divided into three main sections:
I. Introduction:
a. Describe the research study including the type of study, research purpose and/or hypothesis, who was studied including the number of subjects, gender,
race/ethnicity, age/life stage.
b. Describe what the researchers measured (i.e. parenting styles, weight, eating habits, physical activity, etc.)
II. Personal Experience: Choose one of the parenting styles from the article. Give an example from your own experience or observation of the effect of that
parenting style on eating behaviors.
III. Conclusion: What was the conclusion of the article? This must be written in your own words, not copied from the article. (Look at the additional materials for
the detailed instruction, template, rubric and the research article.)
