From your reading of Highlight 13: Phytochemicals and Functional Foods, identify two sources of phytochemicals in your current diet. Using the link belowexplore one of these phytochemicals further.

An Example of the completed Assignment/Discussion:
1.My diet includes a variety of apples; apples are a good source of the flavonols known as catechins; I also can identify lycopene from the tomato products in my diet.
2.Catechins may protect against lung cancer by inhibiting proliferation of cancer cells; however more human studies are needed.
3.Another good dietary source of catechins is Green tea.

.My diet consist of different types of bulgar wheat,which ar great sources of High-Fiber. I also consume a lots of garlic which contains Allicin.

2.High Fiber intakes promotes bowel health by preventing constipation and diverticular disease. It also helps to prevent heart disease by reducing high pressure and diabetes.

3. Quinoa is another great source of High Fiber.
