Amory grew up with a sense of entitlement. He grew up very sheltered from life, his parents where wealthy and he was fortunate enough to have all the amenities of that time. After coming back from the first world war, he struggled with his identity. What was the purpose for his life? He thought that there was more to life and he was trying to find his purpose.
The character of this book, struggles to find his identity after returning from war. What are the connections that the author is trying to make between the struggles of the fictional character and what the author saw in his life after the Great War? THIS IS MY QUESTION ISSUE
