A Master’s Thesis Research paper focusing on the female characters in medieval/early modern literature such Canterbury Tale’s Wife of Bath; Madame Celestina in La
Celestina; Marcela in Don Quixote; and the female characters in The Decameron- all acting as social critics and proto-feminists.
The thesis will have to include the sources mentioned as well as other primary and secondary sources, and scholarly journal articles. It also needs to be written using
