For our study, we gathered the accessible data of crowdfunding projects from the Crowdfunder.co.uk crowdfunding platform. Using the Crowdsurfer.com portal, we gathered
the information of 200 projects that closed by the 10 April 2016, of which 100 projects were successfully funded and 100 failed to reach their funding goal. We then
drilled down to the actual project page on Crowdfunder.co.uk and obtained the necessary data on the factors for our 200 projects.a. Variable operationalization
