1.Describe your client using a holistic assessment approach (physical, emotional, spiritual, mental, environmental, social)
2. Describe the environment of your client as you encountered it. Describe how you provided a healing environment and how you included yourself as part of that
healing environment. What contributed to a healing environment & what obstacles or challenges did you experience? How did you deal with them or overcome them?
3. Explain how you best demonstrated holistic communication (therapeutic communication, therapeutic touch, being heart-centered, & the importance of intention,
self-knowledge, presence, & intuition) in your interactions with your client. Identify an interaction that was problematic with your client. Suggest other ways to
overcome potential barriers in communication.
4. Discuss the holistic caring process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes, therapeutic plans of care, implementation, and evaluation) and client-centered care as the
context in which you selected the specific complementary therapies you provided. How did you feel? How did your client respond? In the future would you do anything
different?
5. Find a research article that supports the use of your chosen complementary therapy. Cite this article in the body of your work and relate its findings to your
client. Use APA format listing the resource. Did the outcomes you experienced with your patient correlate with your research article? Why or why not?
