Discussion: Discuss ways the professional nurse can use information technology to disseminate knowledge in the practice setting.

Weekly Objectives

Utilize technology to demonstrate effective communication skills in the discussion board forum and other electronic communication.

Illustrate principles and methods by which the professional nurse can use information technology to disseminate knowledge in the practice setting.

CO5 Analyze the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) Essentials of Master’s Education in Nursing. (PO 1)

Examine the methods by which the professional nurse can use the AACN Essentials of Master’s Education in Nursing in practice.

Appraise the principles of professional communication to disseminate knowledge in the practice setting according to the AACN Essentials of Master’s Education in Nursing.

CO6 Assess the various roles of the master’s-prepared nurse. (PO 1)
