Hamlet
In his “Speak the speech…” monologue at the start of Act 3, scene 2, Hamlet gives an acting lesson the play-within-the-play’s performers. In your own words, what does Hamlet (and by extension Shakespeare) consider to be good acting and bad acting as outlined in this speech. Then, using that description of good and bad acting, evaluate the two video clips in the content folder this week. Who is the better Shakespearean actor: Laurence Olivier or David Tennant? Explain your answer.
