A short policy oriented paper which discusses the following: * Is forming a Gulf Coorperation council (GCC) monetary union a good idea,  1) The paper should talk about how is the GCC governance 2) the benefits and challenges of forming a union. Keep in mind the affect of trade, as most Gulf countries peg their currencies to the US Dollar 3) Lessons learnt from other monetary unions, such as the EU 4) A conclusion should evaluate and analyse if forming a union is a good or not, if yes how and why, if no explaining why not.
