ORGANISATIONAL COMMUNICATION
Order Description
Organisational communication can be viewed from many theoretical perspectives. You have encountered at least three theoretical approaches, referred to in this subject as: functional, meaning-centered and emerging (Shockley-Zalabak, 2012).
Critically review these perspectives.
1. Provide a comparison of the chosen perspective (functional) to the other two perspectives (meaning-centred and emerging).
2. Provide your thoughts on the limitations of the functional perspective in organisational communication.
3. Provide examples of how the functional perspective accounts for and shapes communication processes within organisations.
