choose a novel of your choice, and based on the instructions below, you are supposed to give presentation of about 20 to 25 minutes. Right after the instructions, you can find the rubric that is used for your marking. This is a PowerPoint project. You should try to make it clear, engaging, understandable, and fun. Be creative with the book you choose, its theme, and the way you present it.
Your presentation must contain all these parts for which you must go in order:
1- An introduction to the novel and author’s background information ( 1-3 min) 2- Characters’synopsis (3-5 min) 3- Summary of the novel (about 10 min) 4- Analysis of the story and literary analysis ( 2-4 min) 5. Questions (about 5 min) 6- Movie ( optional, if included 10 min max)
1- For the first part, you should give a brief history of the novel and the importance of the novel in the world of literature, and also, you should introduce the author and talk about their style and life. Other information about the book and author, at your discretion, can be included but watch you timing.
2- Introduce the characters and the relationship between characters to make your presentation more tangible. If there are too many characters in the story which can make it confusing for your audience to remember them, try to name the most important ones and introduce the rest during your summary presentation. Be careful that it isyou who has read the book not your audience, so make it as understandable as possible.
3- In this part, you give a summary of the story with enough details. Avoid giving too many details and do not prolong one single part of the story. Try to make the theme of the story clear so your audience knowsthe purpose of the story. The 5 elements of the plot must be recognizable in your summary (intro-rising action- climax- falling action- resolution).

4- In this part, analyze the story in brief. Mention as many literary devices asyou think are important. Talk about the style of the writer.
