Topical Paper (LO 6) – The purpose of this paper is to have the student evaluate current debates in Catholic Social Teaching- In this paper the student will
identify a current topic of debate (e-g- immigration, environmental issues, racism, etc-) and over three to four pages describe both sides of the debate and
the support provided by each side from Catholic Social Teaching documents- The student will then argue a position of her/his own based on their own
understanding of Catholic Social Teaching- This paper will be due the week of July 10 and will account for 15% of your grade-
