I have always wanted to do something with my life where I could not only be successful, but also be in a position to help people, and have a positive and significant impact on the quality of their lives. When I was younger, growing up in my native Saudi Arabia, I looked for a profession – a way of life – through which I could make my dream come true.
I soon realized there were many professions in which I could gain success, but there were a precious few in which I could combine both success with a noble cause for the benefit of others. I learned early on that physical therapy was such a profession. Once I decided that I had found my calling in life, I started working very hard in order to realize my dream.
My hard work throughout my high school years paid off, and I was rewarded by being admitted to one of the finest physical therapy schools in my country. Going through physical therapy school was a great learning experience, as I was exposed to virtually all aspects of physical therapy, and began to fully understand the best practices and protocols in this field. Upon graduation, I began a series of internships during which I was exposed to all the important practical and applied areas of physical therapy care and services.
By now, my career was well underway, and I came to an important conclusion. I was becoming aware that The United Kingdom has developed the highest levels of physical therapy education, innovation, and technology, so in order to become the very best that I could be, I had to go there for my higher education degree. After all, if I wanted to be the best, I had to learn from the best. Praise to God, I was fortunate enough to win a teaching assistant position at King Abdulaziz University with a full scholarship to complete my higher education in the UK.
Although my whole education in physical therapy was done in the English language, however, refining one’s language in a foreign country, acclimating to a new culture, and working towards one’s professional goals is not an easy task. So, it has been rather difficult, in all honesty. Yet, I have learned long ago that nothing worthwhile comes easily – I knew I had to work hard and persevere in order to make my dream come true. I was determined to apply myself to overcome whatever challenges came my way.
Now, I feel totally ready for the next big step, which is why I am applying for admission at your Master of Physical Therapy Program. Your program will be my first step toward my advanced postgraduate, because I’m attracted toward the academic pole of physical therapy study. In addition, it would represent my guide along the path of my future research and thesis objectives.
I am well aware that your program is very challenging. It would probably be the most challenging work I will have undertaken, yet. But, you see, I have learned much about taking on and overcoming challenges, as I have been doing all my life. Having succeeded so far, I have demonstrated a knack for overcoming a wide range of challenges. However, having said that, I realize that your program might be a totally new challenge to me. Nevertheless, I feel totally confident to face it head-on.
Once I have completed your Master of Physical Therapy Program, I plan to apply for a Phd certificate in order to clinch my master’s study to my academic research skills. This would greatly enhance my career path and enable me to conduct new research in physical therapy. It is my hope, my dream and sole purpose that all this will eventually lead me to develop and provide the best physical therapy care and treatment I possibly can to patients and humanity.
In conclusion, no matter where I end up with my life and career, I know that I would be best prepared and trained for providing the finest in physical therapy care, serving a large and diverse patient population. Hopefully, this is how I would finally realize my dream to make a most positive impact on improving the quality of life of many fellow human beings.
Your program is a crucial and integral component in my plan to make my lifelong dream finally come true. My gratitude to you would be immense.
Best regards
Mohannad

1- CHARACTERISTICS OF MEMOIRE
1.1 THE CHOICE OF SUBJECT The memoire of the IPAG is a very practical purpose work that is able to respond to a management problem that can be met by companies or respond to current social and political issues.. It must be related to the professional project of the student
This is in strong correlation with the news that students are required to define their subjects from memoire. Why they must rely on careful observation of the environment, on reading the daily readings on economic and more scientific.
The subject is offered by the student, discussed and validated by the appointed guardian for his memoire.
1.2 THE GENERAL STRUCTURE OF MEMOIRE
Master level, the memoire becomes more analytical and less descriptive as the Bachelor. The transition from a process description to a process of strategic analysis requires the memoire structure includes the following steps:
− Identify a topic of study − Perform a synthesis of literature (the existence of the subject) − To state the assumptions of study − Adopt a research methodology − Conduct an empirical research based on the study hypotheses − scientifically validate the hypotheses of study − Conclude with a critical approach to performance
It is desirable that the main text, excluding appendices, is between 30 and 40 pages, no filler or unnecessary verbiage. The submission must indicate:
A cover page with:
The subject of memoire,
The name of the author,
The name of the research councils(tutor),
The year of implementation.
a summary
A long introduction that: States the subject and present its interest and feasibility Connects the subject with the current economic, Connects the subject with the professional project of the student, Shows the overall structure of memoire.
The first part that:
Presents a summary of literature related to the subject,
Sets out the various hypotheses of study.
A second part that: Describes the methodological approach adopted, Describes the data relevant to the treatment of the problem, develop then the main problematic (Subject matter) Details the empirical study or the company’s case study adopted as example
A third party: Analysis and critique the results of the second part Contains a form of recommendations vis-à-vis the subject matter.

1.3 THE ELEMENTS OF SUBSTANCE
We will in this part specify each of the elements outlined in paragraph 1.2. and which constitute the general structure of memoire.
1.3.1 Defining a subject of study
This is the hardest part because the choice of the subject determines the overall interest of the brief. A good subject must:
− Join in the field of management
− To be innovative
− Engage the business world or world events
− To motivate the student
− To be temporally controllable
− To be testable
1.3.2 Conduct a synthesis of literature (the existing market)
The synthesis of literature must bring together key texts already published on the universe of the subject chosen by the student. Master level 2, the synthesis of literature generally includes references thirty (10 academic books, 10 articles professionalizing nature, 10 scientific articles). The student will write a summary of the literature by broad themes. Throughout the synthesis of literature, reference should be made to the problem of memory that appears as a kind of thread. The synthesis of literature must also indicate systematically the sources used by the
student.
1.3.3 Formulate hypotheses Study At the end of the synthesis of literature, the student should state the study assumptions, which are variations of the problem. The number of hypothesis is ideally between 2 and 6. These are questions we must answer yes (validation of the hypothesis) or not (invalidation of the hypothesis 1.3.4 Adopt a research methodology In the second part of its submission, the student must choose an appropriate methodology to its subject and its assumptions and must be able to justify their choice. Among the methods most commonly used are (a priori order of increasing difficulty): − The interview method − The questionnaire method − The hypothesis testing − …
There is no need for a complicated methodology to achieve a good memory. The interview method is very effective in many situations. If this method is chosen, it should conduct interviews to the meeting of saturation (when the maintenance N does nothing more than the previous N-1). Empirically observed that this saturation appears after 4 to 5 interviews. The quality of respondents is crucial to the continuation of the study. We must of course select the “experts” of the subject that you want treated. 1.3.5 Conduct an empirical research based on the study hypotheses
Once the research methodology is chosen, the study should be conducted. This means that the student has to collect the data necessary for its study and treatment. For example, the methodology of the interview can help to: − identify people (experts) to meet − seek appointment − writing a grid service, − conduct interviews, − analysis of the interviews.
1.3.6 Validate the hypotheses scientifically study The analysis and comparison of various interviews (if applicable) will help remove the hypotheses, that is to say, validate or invalidate them.
1.3.7 Conclude with a critical approach to performance
The third and final part of the specification must enable the student to express themselves freely on its approach and its results. This is the critical analysis of what he learned from the literature and what he discovered through his own investigations. Unlike Parts 1 and 2, very mechanical, the third part is very creative. He must present his work through demonstrations Analytical charts, diagrams, graphs, images, … … ….
This is also the third part the student must set a schedule of recommendations
1.4 THE ELEMENTS OF FORM
1.4.1 The protocol writing
The written document must be typed, paginated and presented according to the following:
− font = Times New Roman
− number of pages 30 to 40 pages without the annexes
− character = 12
− line spacing = single
− margins left, right, top and bottom = 2.5 cm
− formatting paragraphs justify =
− no header
− pagination begins on the first page of the introduction
− five heading levels up (Part 1, 1, 1.3, 1.3.2, 1.3.2.4)
− two levels of enumeration maximum (dash and dot)
− quotations must be quoted and be a reference at the bottom of page
− it shall minimize the use of parentheses in favor of the reference at the bottom of page
− graphs, tables or diagrams should be numbered, have a title and their sources should be indicated
− notes can be inserted at the bottom of page. They must be numbered in the footer and the text.
− annexes are not intended to make the volume. Their presence is necessary only if they provide important insights from the text.
− annexes should be classified by themes. It should be numbered and listed in the main text
− the spelling must be flawless
1.4.2 The graphs, charts and diagrams
They must be preceded by the title (bold, font 10) and followed by the source (italic, font 10). The numbering of the graphs is separate from the tables and figures and settled in Arabic numerals.
Table 1: The detection of emptiness
Tableau 1 : La mise en évidence du vide
Source : Vacuum Cleaner (2012)
Do not use the word figure, replace diagram or graph as appropriate.
The explanation of a chart, table or diagram need not be indicated in footnote on page, but they must be under the object. Do not write: see table below diagram or against but, for example, see Table 2, see Figure 5
1.5 THE TREATMENT REFERENCES
1.5.1 References Bibliographic references should appear in footnote page like this. They can also be cited as follows: (Hate (1998), Hate T. (1998) Tom and Hate (1998)). When the reference has more than two authors, only the first will be given followed by et al. in italics: (Dupont et al., 2003). When several references are cited together in the text, they should be ordered chronologically: (Smith, 1986, 1989, Anderson and Smith, 1990a, 1990b, Anderson et al., 1995, p. 250-282, p. 327-349) .
1.5.2 Description of references
In a very general, priority should be given to the most recent publications, but older references can be cited when they provide a historical perspective and the theories they set out remain valid.
If the author of an article or book is an organization, you must write his name in full and not abbreviated.
References should be listed in alphabetical order the names of the first author and in chronological order for the same author, in the following forms:
1.5.2.1 Article extracted from a periodical or a journal
B. Bias, “Price Formation and Equilibrium Liquidity in Fragmented and Centralized Markets,” Journal of Finance, 1993, vol. 48, No. 1.
A. Smith, “The new accounting in the United States”, in French Accounting, October 1997, No. 25, p. From 65 to 74.
If the magazine or journal is in English, the name of the month is written in English (eg October 1997).
1.5.2.2 Work Charreaux G., Financial Management, 6th ed., Paris, Litec, 2000. If there are two or more authors, write: R. Bourbonnais, J.-C. Usunier, Sales Forecasting, Theory and Practice, 3rd ed., Paris, Economica, 2001. Do not write and or & to separate two authors’ names.
1.5.2.3 Thesis Hebosttom L.-C., “Mimicry and Financial Markets”, PhD in Management Science, 1997, University of Paris IX Dauphine.
1.5.2.4 Report, working paper or research paper
H. Smith, “The audit of thought,” Workbook FICREGE No. 5521, University of Paris IX-Dauphine, 2007
1.5.2.5 Citation of part of work (for collective works)
Orlean A., “Behaviour and mimetic diversity of opinions on the financial markets”, in H. Bourguinat, P. Artus, anomalies in the financial markets, Paris, Economica, 1989.
1.5.2.6 Communication (in a conference or seminar) K. Arthur, “The life of Lancelot,” XXX Congress of the AFEM, Avignon, 12-13 May 1066.
1.5.2.7 Persons met Name, contact information (address, phone, e-mail), company or institution, title, date, account maintenance.
The bibliography must be determined by alphabetical order of authors’ names without distinguishing articles, books, theses or research papers.
1.6 THE PLAGIARISM Plagiarism should be distinguished from the quote, which is a practice condoned and commonly used. “The citation consists of the reproduction of a text written by an author, which is explicitly given with reference to the source, using quotation marks and footnote page. Plagiarism, for its part is copying whole sentences, without using quotation marks or citing the author a note. “Remember that plagiarism act punishable by law, may lead the student before the Disciplinary Board of the IPAG that stops a penalty up to exclusion.
2- ORGANIZATION OF RESEARCH TRAINING
2.1 THE GENERAL SCHEDULE − A session of 1 hour for general methodology − give his guardian(tutor),by e-mail, the first choice of the subject of memory and its problems & the the general Summary (PLAN). − provide tutor, by e-mail, documents containing the progress of his research
The student is the sole responsibile of the state of his memory. The role of follower is only to advise him in his approach, not to participate actively.
An electronic copy of the dissertation should be sent to tutor at the deadline date announced for the program and a paper copy to be submitted or sent by POST at the same date, to Mrs. Negar Youssefian, Dissertations Academic responsible.
