Chapter 5: Conclusion and recommendation

5.0 Introduction
After analysing and evaluating the empirical study, it is observed that the effective communication process and accurate strategy help the organization in a better
ways. It is also observed that project based structure are used by the company for some special situation. When the organizations require modified goods or products
then the possibility to implement some changes from project structure and customers is recommended. From above analysis it is observed that communication is most vital
element within the workplace and with proper communication mode information flow are done in effective manner i.e. flow of information from higher level to lower level
done easily. In such structure, it is observed that better flow of information gives the organization function and operation more flexibility. In addition it is
observed that information flow within the organization is one of the primary reasons for plans to be completed. Consequences are then the strategic drift and strategic
gap. Therefore, project based structure is to be considered by an effective, adequate and quick communication.
This chapter is focused upon the Critical Success factors related to IT enabled Information Flow in Project-Based Companies in the context of Saudi Arabia. In this
study, the researcher aims to determine the important facts and areas those help the organization to maintain better satisfaction and reduce failure. In addition, in
this part the researcher has to endeavour to establish an association between the theoretical knowledge that is discussed in chapter 2 i.e. literature review and
practical knowledge. Thus the researcher has to build a list of objective at the introduction part of study and attempt to create a better link between these objective
and observation.
5.1 Linking with objective
Objective 1: To comprehend how the information flow is processed in project-based companies in Saudi Arabia.
In order to attain better objective organization tries to implement better communication process within the organization. In addition from qualitative analysis it is
seen that managers of the organization replied that any organization can achieve better objective by implementing better commutation process system. As per the data
analysis it is seen that most of the respondents are replied face to face and formal communion process is most effective. Therefore as the above discussion it is
inferred that to achieve better objective and run business in a proper way, information flow plays most effective role especially in project based organization because
in project based organization all of members are working together; thus better flow between managers and co-workers helps them to achieve targeted objective.

Objective 2: To understand the meaning, importance and relationship of strategic drift and information flow.
One the most effective reason of strategic drift is due to revolutionize in the technology and implement better technology within the workplace. Therefore this
situation information flow plays most critical role. From the qualitative analysis, it is seen that the managers of organization replied that strategic drift raised
within the workplace due to improper communication process and it will affect the organization performance also. From data analysis methods, it is seen that when
researcher asked the question regarding are you satisfied with the new strategy that is used by the organization then most of the respondents replied that they are
disagreed with new strategy. Thus this situation shows that if an organization implements any new technology within the organization then it may be a negative impact
on their performance. Thus from above analysis it is said that strategic drift are directly dependent upon information flows.

Objective 3: To investigate the relationship between Information flows of the project based companies in Saudi Arabia and their strategic drift in the long run.
From qualitative data analysis methods, management of organizations replied that better information flow enhanced organization performance. In addition it is also seen
that if information flow between managers and workers are well then it is easier for them to understand organization objective and what management wants from them.
Thus it will help them to achieve their objective in easier manner. In addition from analysis methods, it is observed that several respondents replied that knowledge
management process is most effective and proper communication mode to flow information. Thus from above analysis it is said that information flow helps the
organization to achieve better objective and sustain in market for long time.

Objective 4: To analyse the current state of IT applications used in project based companies of Saudi Arabia for helping them in information management.
Now in competitive market implementation of advance technology, helps the organization to achieve better objective; it is observed from data analysis methods. While
researcher asked the questions to respondents regarding IT application produce better quality of product and reduce operation cost than most of respondents are replied
that they are highly agreed that IT application helps the organization to improve better quality with reduce cost. Moreover when researcher asked the questions to
respondent regarding use of IT application help to improve organization performance then several respondents are replied that they are highly agreed and agreed with
the question. Thus from above analysis it is said that IT applications used in project based companies of Saudi Arabia for helping them in information management.
IT implementation helps the organization to improve operational performance and remaining replied that IT raises the customer’s satisfaction. From above analysis it is
said that implementation of IT application bring numerous benefits for organization. Moreover, it is well-known that IT improves better customer’s satisfaction and
reduces cost cut with better performance. Thus while asking the questions to the respondents regarding that are you agreeing with use of IT application help to improve
organization performance Thus fromabove it is to be said that it is inferred that to improve performance employees must have to participate in decision making process.
In addition using better database management system organization improves performance and story huge amount of data and information. With the help of using better KM
system organization improve commutation
Objective 5: To identify and present the critical success factors which determine the success of the information flow and its potential impact on strategic drift.
From literature review and data analysis methods it is observed that IT application including effective ERP system, better knowledge management system are the
effective techniques that would help the organization to increase better information flow between the organization. From analysis it is seen observed most respondents
replied that use of cloud computing data storage and distributed database would facilities the organization to improve information flow and improved better performance
in effective manner.

5.2 Recommendation
From above analysis methods and observation it is recommended that in improving better performance and achieving effective information flow within workplace,
organizations need to implement effective enterprise resource planning application. In addition it is also recommend that with the help of distributed data base
management system organization improve information flow; because distributed database management system helps the organization to store data and information in
effective manner. In addition it is observed that commutation barriers are raised within the organization due to emotional barrier thus to solve this communion barrier
organization needs to implement formal communication process within workplace. The other important part of information flow is the role of “management information
system” department within the corporation is a major player of project based corporations. The “Information System Development” (ISD) mechanism is considered as a
creative activity in supporting the business. Co-production is a dynamic, artistic and communal procedure, based on association among makers and operators (Hsu et al.
2012). ISD may be observed as a significant co-production procedure in which the information system department and creators work closely to govern the requirements of
the system and execute the system outcomes to maintain the company’s day-to-day processes.
5.3 Future research study
The present research study is based upon the qualitative research study; thus in future researcher wants to conduct and evaluate the collected data though quantitative
data collection methods that will helps them to identify and represent accurate facts and figure in numerical format. In addition, present research study is conducted
in Saudi Arab which is developed country, thus in future researcher aim to conduct study in development countries and compare the outcomes between them.
