AIM AND PURPOSE OF THE STUDY
The purpose of this study is to provide a comprehensive overview of the common challenges faced by the international students during lectures and clinical practice and interventions to lessen the impact of these challenges on the performance and competence of the students.
The aim is to serve as a guidebook for tutor nurses, new and old international nursing students, studying in Finland and ambitioning to pursue a career in nursing in the country.
Research Questions
1. How can tutor nurses enhance the level of confidence of international nurses to patients handling?
2. How can nursing tutors improve patient handling skills of the international students?
4. Methodology – literature review (in nursing Narrative)
4.1 search strategies – collected using academic search ELITE, CINAHL databases searches and EBSCO, science direct. Pubmed, the search terms that will be “tutoring “ mentoring, “international students”, “Finland” “nursing “ “tutoring guide“
