First Individual Assignment (25%): 2000 – 2500 words due 9am, Thursday, 24 September, 2015
Second Individual Assignment (45%): 3,500 – 4000 words due 9am, Monday, 2 November, 2015
Please note, as reinforced at the lecture, word count for the assignment is just a guide. The actual length will depend on the complexity of the projects chosen. Please develop your assignment according to the contents that are required as long as necessary.

Assignment formatting requirements:
? Times New Roman;
? Size 12;
? 1.5 spacing (1.5 spacing does not apply to tables and figures);
? with 2.5cm margin

Assignments Submission
? Via LMS assignment submission link available two weeks before the assignment due dates
? Students are required to generate an originality report to check thoroughly to ensure all work are properly referenced when applicable

The purpose of the assignments is to enable students to use planning and evaluation techniques and tools to design a project within the area of their interests. The individual assignments and group assignments may be related. Although, the 2nd and 3rd assignments should be prepared individually, students who are allocated in the same group are strongly encouraged to support each other throughout the semester and may use the same topic to develop their two assignments as long as they do not copy each other’s work.

Focus: To develop required details of a project plan based on either the group assignment project or a project of your choice. Please make sure you let your group know if you would not like to develop your assignment based on the group project.

For the first assignment, the following details are required:
• Project overview
• Project aims, objectives and strategies
• Project strategies and relevant activities with detailed timeframe and allocated responsibilities
• Sustainability consideration
• Key project stakeholders to be included in the Advisory Committee
• Project key personnel and budget consideration

For the second assignment, the following details are required:
• Project risk assessment and management strategies
• Detailed design of process and impact evaluation;
• Proposed one year post project outcome evaluation;
• Proposed control of internal and external validity
Five appendixes have been developed to guide the development of your project plan. You are also welcome to use other templates where appropriate.

? Please also see Appendix Three & Appendix Four you can fit majority of the information in the table for process and impact evaluation. However, you may need explanations on specific details which may not be able to include in the table after the table.
