Lesson 9 Questionnaires

I will be doing two questioners for the community before and after the training. As well as for the police officers before their bias training and after and another
one, one year later to see if the program has actually had any effect. I have started drafting them now and have listed some of the questions that I have thought of
below.

Before Training Questionnaire

Have you ever had a negative interaction with a minority?

Have you ever arrested a minority?

1. Yes
2. No

Do you feel that this department has any biases against those who belong to a minority group?

1. Yes
2. No

If yes please elaborate below and explain any encounters you have had with fellow co-workers or administrators that have lead you to feel this way?

Have you ever received any training that has addressed biases that may exist against minorities in the criminal justice system?

1. Yes
2. No

If you have not do you think the department would benefit from such training?

1. Yes

Based on your interactions in communities consisting of minorities do you feel that they are treated more harshly than white citizens?
