Coral Reef Ecology: Impacts of ocean acidification on coral reefs

Each student will produce a paper on the topic of their choice, which is to be related to coral reef ecology. The paper should be 3000-4000 words long, and include at
least 20 references from the primary literature. Students are encouraged to choose fairly specific topics (e.g. is there evidence of adaptive bleaching in the field?)
rather than broad ones (e.g. coral bleaching). The paper should be written for a scientific audience knowledgeable about coral reefs, and follow the general style and
tone of Aronson and Precht (2006) or other “perspectives” papers from the journal Coral Reefs. References should be formatted as per the journal Coral Reefs. Students
are encouraged to use referencing software (e.g. Endnote, Zotero, Refworks) to help manage and format references.
