Diaphoresis
Order Description
Patients often present with a broad array of clinical signs and symptoms. It is important for the paramedic to know how to recognise these and understand the significance they have to underlying disease states.
Within your group you have each been assigned a different sign of symptom to report on, as part of building a collective group database.
You have 750 words or less to;
a) Describe the symptom (what it is and what it looks like…feel free to insert a pic!)
b) Explain any key pathophysiology which contributes to this symptom (link the sign or symptom to a disease)
c) Discuss the implications for the paramedic who may discover the sign or symptom ( Does this effect the time critical nature of the patient? Will this influence any treatment decisions or pathways of care?)
