The Sunday Times lists of the Best Companies to Work For 2017 are derived from the views of employees. They rank companies chiefly by eight key indicators, or “factors”, of staff engagement – which are:
1. Leadership (the heads and senior managers of the company);
2. My Manager (the local management on a day-to-day basis);
3. Personal Growth (opportunities to use skills and advance);
4. Wellbeing (balancing work/life issues);
5. My Team (immediate colleagues);
6. Giving Something Back (giving back to society and to the community);
7. My Company (the company and the way it treats staff); and
8. Fair Deal (pay and benefits).

Task:
As the new HR Director of your company, your aim is to list your organisation on the Sunday Times list of the Best Companies to Work For 2018.
Write a report that includes:
1. The aims, objectives and rationale for this project.
2. A summary of the strategies you wish to implement in order to achieve this goal
3. A clear examination of the benefits of improved employee engagement and employee relations.
Your report should include a critical examination of examples of best practice how your organisation can improve employee engagement and relations

1. Explain the importance and key objectives of employee relationship within contemporary organisations and evaluate the relationship between the organization and its employee in the current environment
2. Analyse the importance of employee engagement within contemporary organisations and evaluate the effectiveness of employee engagement strategies in improving performance, productivity across all sectors of the economy.
3. Appraise the impact of employee motivation, communication, mentoring and leadership on the organisation.
4. Evaluate the significance of employee engagement on levels of absenteeism retention, levels of innovation, customer services and the performance in organisations.
