ASSESSMENT
Part 2: 2500 word intervention proposal
This part of the module assessment requires you to develop an intervention programme to enhance some aspect of psychological well-being.

During the course of the module you have introduced you to a number of ‘characteristics’ which have been shown to impact on the positive well being of the individual,
for example, hope, optimism, resilience, self-esteem.

The assessment requires you to choose ONE characteristic and develop a programme to ‘increase’ this aspect of positive psychology in a specified group of individuals.

This should be an evaluative piece of work (as required in year 3) providing:

(a) A literature review (1500 words approximately) – what is the importance of this characteristic for Positive Psychology?
(b) 1000 words to introduce a self-developed training programme aiming to increase the target construct:
• Rational for the component
• Target sample
• Steps
• Expected impact
• Measurement of the impact
• Potential side effects.

I would like to do my essay on HOPE-with refugees who have fled their country and how we can build up their home in finding a job etc.
