One of the most compelling Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment Program (DSRIP) projects is the integration of primary care and behavioral health.

The clock is ticking and all your efforts must go into the implementation of this program starting in the ambulatory care sites that are spread across your service
area. Each site will eventually require behavioral health services to comply with the program but you do not have the funding to start the services in all the sites
nor do you have the staffing to achieve this goal.
Also of concern is attempting to provide psychiatric supervision for the program. You do not have the finances to hire the amount of doctors needed to provide the
service…yet you have been given the mandate to start the project so that the state and federal matrix can be met to maximize reimbursement for these services.
Your CEO and CFO have called a meeting and have invited Board of Trustee members as well as some of the partners in the performing provider system so that you can

6. How will you complete the PHQ 2 and PHQ 9

7. How will you create the work flow. What will be the policy and procedure for this program?

8. How will you help with team collaboration and treatment plan completion.

9. Financial evaluation…salaries…expenses…

10 Time line for expansion and phase in process…

11. Cultural considerations.

This has to have a major focus on behavioral health. Mental health perspective.
