Leadership Assignment
1. Find somebody (outside Khalifa University) who is in a leadership role and interview them to find out what leadership style they have adopted.
This can be done by email, on the phone or in person.
Think of at least 10 questions to ask them.
(You are not allowed to ask them what leadership style they have adopted, that is what you have to decide yourself from the answers to your questions).
2. From the information that you get from the answers to your questions decide what leadership style they have adopted.
3. Write a report stating how you have come to this conclusion.
4. Then, write a critical account of whether the choice of leadership style is appropriate for their organization or not, in your opinion, but backed up with evidence from the answers you have been given.
Offer alternative suggestions, if you feel that it is not appropriate.
5. Remember to include the details of the person you are interviewing, with details of the organization they work for.
• You will get marks for the appropriate choice of interview questions, the quality and relevance of the report, the correct analysis and alternative suggestions.
• This is an individual assignment which should be uploaded onto Turnitin assignment, on Moodle by *Thursday February 25th.
