The classmate forum post to be peer evaluated is in bold here (EdwardA/Info):
With most individuals the less difficult the better, and linux is totally the opposite. When we think back and take a gander at first time Microsoft releasing Windows
or Apple releasing their Mac os “the system”.These two organizations remained behind their products, licenses them, acquainted it with the world and demonstrated to
the world .
The whole idea was to invent operating systems to make human being lives easier and also very not that complicated to operate, user friendly.. Linux is on an entire
distinctive plateau.Linux was release to the public in the mid 90’s, this Operating system was unpatented, as it were it was “Opensource”, This implies anyone with PC
programming aptitudes can modify or redo the entire working framework to their preferring, change the name if their like and even redistribute. This is the reason
there are such a large number of diverse sorts of linux meandering about , yet not that much individuals knows linux.I do not trust cloud computing at the moment. Only
because the information is saved over the internet. If the internet where to go down then you would not be able to access your information. The problem that I see is
that since the information is on a server somewhere over the internet then it could be accessible to hackers in the long run. The only time I use cloud computing is
when my games from steam forces me to save onto it. The website that I found that talked about cloud computing stated that there it could be private or public. Also,
the cloud computing is controlled and managed by another person that is placing your information into the right location. The three types of cloud computing are;
“Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS), and Platform as Service (PaaS) (explainthatstuff.com).Well the hardware and software requirements
that are needed for the QUALCOMM are very simple. To have it turned on in the first place, you have to turn on the Semi-Truck, only if the batteries to the truck have
been turned off or you have left your truck off for a little bit of time. The computer itself requires the fuse that works a CB radio to also work. The monitor slides
up to reveal a keyboard and there is also a plastic pin to touch the screen due to the fact that it a touch screen computer. As far as I know there is one more piece
of hardware, which is a antenna that is somewhat strong to pick up cell tower signals for the system. The software itself always gets updated so that it would be able
to keep in tone with the truck. The information that it gets from the truck is the RPM’s, Fuel Consumption, MPG, keeping track of how close you are following to
vehicles, brake statuses, and maintenance. There could be more that the QUALCOMM could gather but it is almost impossible to gain that information from the internet. I
may have to contact a friend of mine over Facebook to send me photos of the QUALCOMM in action and what information it gets for the company that he works for.
