The lack of liquidity in many asset classes is one of the most relevant challenges in capital markets. What actions can Kuwait take in order to maximize liquidity?

If a foreign investors sees that there is Zero commission for entering Kuwait he will be attracted.
Foreigners cannot have sole proprietorship in Kuwait, you must be of Kuwaiti citizenship
You have to have a Kuwaiti citizen – you have to have local partners and money doesn’t like that.
Ex: I want to buy 5% of a telecom company in Kuwait it usually through an spv
In an spv you normally have to have a Kuwaity citizen.
-foreigners cannot own more than 49% in Kuwait.
-mention open market concept!2- Implement brady bonds to attract more ppl. 3- ETF- DEVELOP FUNDS IN KUWAIT
ETF special kind of fund that doesn’t have to be for rick people only, any investor can join whether it be small or big which attracts more people…..4- Design bonds
denominated in dollars
-design currency hedges 5- creation of a combined market
-combing multiple countries from the gulf for example.
