consider yourself as a consumer who is currently undertaking extensive research on a product in order to discover your attitude
towards this product. In particular, you are required to:
Conduct an extensive product research by collecting, reviewing, and documenting relevant
and appropriate marketing stimuli used by the company to promote the product in the
marketplace.
Critically analyse how these marketing stimuli influence your attitude formation both
cognitively and affectively. Include in your discussions strategies that have been used by
the company (through their marketing stimuli) to influence these cognitively- and affectivelybased
attitudes. Evaluate the effectiveness of these strategies. Then, summarise your
critical assessments by clearly stating your actual attitude toward the product using a fivepoint
scale ranging from very negative, negative, neutral, positive, to very positive.
Assuming that the target market for this product has the same attitude as yours, provide
strategies that the company can use to revamp their marketing stimuli to promote a more
positive attitude toward the product. Justify your recommendations.
