How have they been affected negatively? 2) In “Ch. 2 What is social media?” [4th week (2/6-2/10)’s assigned reading] by Christian Fuchs, he maintains that we need social theory in order to understand social media. Based on this chapter, define and explain social media by using the theories or concepts proposed by Durkheim, Weber, Marx and Tönnies. Do you agree with Fuchs’ arguments? Why or why not? (Document will be attach) 3) Your use of the Internet, including your activities in social media sites and apps, is compiled into a profile used by advertisers and marketers to target their messages. Consider what your digital profile would consist of. How well do you think your online use represents who you are?
