You have been employed as a Project Manager by XYZ Company/ Abu Dhabi to manage and organize projects. You are free to choose one of those projects and organize all aspects of this project to complete the following tasks:
Task 1 – Prepare a Project description (approximately 500 words) by defining all major aspects of the project and forms the basis for its planning and management and also the assessment of overall success.
Task 2 – Produce a work breakdown structure with a minimum of 12 activities
Task 3 – Develop a responsibility matrix fully linked to group work breakdown structure (each activity should be linked to a member in the group) clearly showing the assignment of each task.
Task 4 – Produce a work schedule using MS Project or Excel sheet that uses the activities created in Task 2. Create your own time estimates, resource (e.g. people, materials) requirements and costs as required and remember that there can never be only one right way for a project of this nature, as long as you justify your choice.
Task 5 – Identify the critical path on your project with 3 assumptions of probabilities to avoid major risks for your project, linking each assumption to the overall project objective in Task 1.
