Politicisation of Intelligence: Is it always bad?

Description:

Politicisation of intelligence involves the influence of bias on intelligence reports to
present conclusions that support a certain viewpoint. Examples of this can be
politicians compelling agencies to reflect policy preferences, and intelligence agents
constructing reports which reflect personal beliefs or ideology. Presenting intelligence
unobjectively is thus usually seen as inherently negative because it is not presenting
the objective truth.
