Note of Interest—this project paper is NOT to be construed as a financial statement analysis similar to the paper you prepared for a Financial Accounting course. While financial statement is used by consultants in evaluation strengths and weaknesses of a entity, financial analysis is only one part of the overall picture. Financial statement analysis is not the major focus of this project.
This comprehensive project must be a minimum of 10 pages (not including title page, abstract, table of contents, appendix and reference page).
The project must be in APA format—to include formatting, citing, and referencing .
Links to APA sources for formatting the project are in a file in Module 6 in Canvas.
Any charts and figures included in your project must have an appropriate explanation and APA label;
There may be no pictures in your paper.
Any financial ratios used must include how they are calculated and why these ratios are included in your analysis.
You must include at least five (5) cited resources—other than the resources noted above–for your project.
Note of Interest—As a consultant, you should keep to a minimum the amount of information you use that is generated by your client or your clients parent organization. This means you should limit the amount of information in this paper–other than financial information—that comes from the Port Everglades or Broward County websites. A client does not like their consultants to regurgitate/repackage information that the client’s own employees have already presented and the client has published. This means you will have to find external resources to support your SWOT analysis.
