future employer? Why are these qualities important to you? Imagine you are going into a company’s headquarters for an interview. What might you observe, or what
questions would you ask in order to determine if this company has a culture that appeals to you? Name at least three questions and or observation points you would look
for, and explain how they relate to the qualities that you hold to be important.2. You are the founder and CEO of a start up, ScrapChat. You’ve prided yourself on the
company’s “flat” structure. When you started you had 4 employees who all reported directly to you– although your employees didn’t have formal titles, the roles were
divided roughly into a head of sales, an administrative assistant, a tech guru, and a finance/accounting/payroll expert. You all worked in the same shared space and
frequently socialized outside of work together. You now have 30 employees, most of whom still directly report to you. Several work remotely. Recently you received a
new round of funding, and have a big new product launch scheduled for the coming year.• Would you change your company’s organizational structure? If so, how? Who do
you need to convince to accept these changes?• How might these changes impact the company’s culture?• Do you anticipate you’ll experience resistance? How could you
