Spreadsheet Assignment
Create (1) an executive summary report (pdf), a (2) PowerPoint presentation, and (3) an Excel workbook that describes and solves a business opportunity or problem appropriate to your chosen career.
This is an individual assignment.
Proposal Specifications
Your project topic must be career related (related to your academic field, job, or a business opportunity). The best project topics are those based on an actual organization’s issue.
Provide the following info in your proposal: 

a. State the problem or opportunity.
b. Explain its importance.
c. Explain why an Excel spreadsheet is a good tool to solve it. Describe what spreadsheet features will be used and why.
d. Provide background on the calculations, formulas, and data sources that you need.
Implementation
Write a 3-5 page executive summary, to be submitted as a .pdf file that describes your project problem/opportunity, your spreadsheet solution, and your results, conclusion, or recommendations based on your spreadsheet analysis.
Create a short PowerPoint presentation that describes your project and your proposed solution. This will be based on your executive report.
Create an Excel workbook with worksheets that you will use to form your project solution.
Use appropriate Excel features to create a professional presentation of your results.
Use formulas and functions as needed.
Use absolute, relative, and mixed references as needed.
Use sorting, subtotals, pivot tables, etc. as needed.
Use at least one type of chart.
Use at least one type of “What if” analysis (scenarios, trend lines, goal seek, solver, etc.)
