Sun Journal

Observe the location on the horizon of the rising or setting sun everyday for two weeks or about. To do this, make a sketch of your eastern or western horizon and show on the sketch where the sun is rising and setting. Make sure to indicate the dates and times of your observations. (To make it more accurate, you could take a picture of the horizon with a digital camera, blow it up, and print it off. Then you can make the observations on the picture)?

Write up a summary of your findings, and discuss what they have to do with the length of the day, and what season we are in.
