This assignment should identify a unique characteristic of Silicon Valley and link it to another world region (preferable from your home country (BELGIUM)). This 10
page report should identify a characteristic of an innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystem here in the San Francisco Bay Area, develop it, compare and contrast to the
leading ecosystem of a different country. Examples of the key characteristics could be: society’s willingness to take risks, handling failure, availability of risk
capital, the propensity of universities to become creators of companies, society’s ability to network and seek win-win opportunities, etc.The minimum length is 10
pages and the maximum length is 20 pages
including appendixes and references. Charts, graphics and diagrams should be
counted as part of the Appendixes. In other words the 10-page minimum is text. The
cover page and other fluff is part of the max 20 pages but NOT part of the 10-page
minimum. (Page definition = Arial Narrow 12 pt, single space, and 1” borders on an
8.5×11 sheet of paper)
