The tools practiced in this workshop are:

Situation:

Consider that you/your group works for a passenger airline company and you have been tasked with improving the “customer experience.” Before jumping to improvements in your Lean Six Sigma project, however, you decide that it may be better to spend some time studying how the process currently works/operates as part of the Measure phase of your project.

Instructions:

Use information from your training manual in Measure Phase – Lessons 2-6 to assist you with the activities that follow. Be sure to follow the “best practices” for each tool you use in this workshop.

1.Create a SIPOC diagram for the passenger airline company you work for that focuses on the process the customer follows/goes through when flying with your airline:

2. Create a flowchart that documents the detailed process the customer follows/goes through when flying with your airline:
