“What is whiteness in warfare?” White is typically seen as a pure color and is associated with positive connotations. The color is even used as treatment for neurasthenia. However, white can also be used negatively such as “White Torture.” How they meet in the middle from the two drastically different properties of white in warfare is how white is used for surrender (white flag). The paper requires the incorporation of the ideas of violence and nonviolence into the paper.
