Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS)

Objective: To gain greater understanding of the wide range of disease processes that you could possibly see in the Medical/Surgical/Pediatric and/or the Community setting this semester. Process:
• Choose a disease process – ALS choosen
• Write 3 – 5 page paper (not including the cover or reference page) including: definition, etiology, risk factors, pathophysiology, signs & symptoms, clinical manifestations, complications, conventional therapy, complimentary therapy and possible community resources
