These include gender identity, religion, clothing, hairstyles, different types of foods, specific people who are associated with a particular culture, a landmark, an event, a concept, a tradition, language, and technology. Pick two of these cultural markers and give one example for each from your own workplace experience of diversity in cultural markers that created a conflict. After identifying the cultural marker and how diversity affected your job, write a brief summary of how active listening could have facilitated effective resolution of the conflict that arose. Describe how suggestion for alternative communication patterns to the parties would have helped resolve the conflict.
