Using your textbook, other academic sources and police domestic violence reports discuss the cycle of abuse and the reasons why women stay in abusive relationships. Discuss children of domestic violence and children within violent settings and what effect this has on them. Make sure to include under-reporting of domestic violence, acquaintance rape and also same-sex domestic violence. Discuss how women can find help.
