Political, Social, Economic, and Legal Issues

While emergency management and criminal justice have established procedures to deal with significant events, political, social, economic, and legal forces influence decisions on resourcing and public support. Analyze the political, social, economic, and legal factors of the case study you selected in Unit 2. Examine the politics surrounding the collaborations of the various agencies and government factors within your case study. What social factors were involved in the response to the incident? How did this affect vulnerable groups? Provide an analysis of how economics affected the response to the incident. How did this impact resource decisions? What processes, regulation, and systems were involved in the legal decisions of your case study?
