Description Recommendation Report Word Minimum: 1000 The Assignment: For the Recommendation Report, you will write a report in which which you compare two or more products or services and recommend one for some specific application (such as for a business need). This assignment will, of course, expose you more thoroughly to the genre of reports. In addition to learning report superstructures and conventions, we’ll work on creating a more cohesive, coherent arrangement and style. Chapter 14 of your textbook will have guidelines for format and content. Keep the following in mind: Choose a product or service that you use in your work or daily life. Research two or more versions of that product or service to compare and make recommendations on. Define and state somewhere in the report the criteria you are using to make your recommendations. In the report, include a section in which you compare the choices. Include a recommendation section in which you make your recommendation. Include at least one graphic in this writing project. More notes and examples are given in the Learning Module. Research Sources: You will use both in-text citations and a works cited page to properly document your research sources. These sources can include books, journal or periodical articles, web sources, etc. You must have at least two (2) research sources, and they must be cited using proper MLA format.
